How we work

Four steps.
Zero surprises.

Every project — cesspool conversion, excavation, or yard care — runs through the same disciplined process. Here's what to expect, with Kauaʻi-realistic timelines.

  1. 01

    Free Site Assessment

    Same week

We visit the property, locate your cesspool, check soil and setbacks, and review your DOH priority zone. Typically 30–60 minutes. Start with a project review.

  2. 02

    Design, Engineering & Permitting

    Several weeks after submittal

Stamped IWS design, SMA screening if applicable, and DOH Wastewater Branch submittal. We handle revisions and county permits. Once engineered plans are submitted, DOH review could take up to several weeks.

  3. 03

    Installation

    Under a week

Crew mobilizes, tank set, drainfield install, electrical and controls (for ATU systems), and cesspool decommissioning. Usually under a week from start to backfill.

  4. 04

    Final DOH Approval & Restoration

    1–2 weeks

We meet the inspector, secure your certificate of completion, finish grade, and clear the site so you can move on with your life.
